These terms apply when you use Nutriq, a calorie tracking app provided by Robert-Paul van den Born, on the website or in the Android app. By creating an account or using Nutriq you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Nutriq.
Nutriq uses AI to produce estimates of the calories and nutrients in meals and activities you describe. They are estimates, not measurements, and you can review and edit them before and after saving.
Nutriq is not a medical device and does not provide medical, nutrition, or dietary advice. Estimates can be inaccurate. Don't use Nutriq to diagnose, treat, or manage any condition. Talk to a doctor or registered dietitian before acting on calorie or macro numbers, especially if you have or may have an eating disorder, diabetes, are pregnant, or have any other medical condition. Never rely on Nutriq for medically required dietary decisions, such as allergen avoidance or insulin dosing.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Nutriq.
Keep access to the email address you use to sign in secure. An account is for one person only. We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service or break these terms.
Please don't:
You own the meal, activity, and other records you log. You give us permission to process them only to provide Nutriq to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export your data as JSON from Settings and delete it at any time, including your whole account at Delete account.
Nutriq is currently free during early access. We may introduce paid features later and will give advance notice. Terms for any paid subscription will be shown before you buy, and purchases made through Google Play are also subject to Google Play's terms.
Nutriq is provided "as is". We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, and we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We will tell you about material changes to these terms, for example in the app or by email, and continued use after a change means you accept it.
To the extent permitted by law, Nutriq and its operator are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on AI-generated estimates. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live still apply.
